Above right: In a later scene in the basement, in which Gumb is made up as a woman and is doing his 'dance', the mannequin with the yellow blouse now faces him, as if watching him. This is meant to suggest that Gumb believes that he is getting closer to becoming a woman, and thus feels that he is being recognized as one.
